Had time to celebrate Annette's 40th birthday. I gave her handspun yarn, spun directly from the handdyed locks of the sheep Jewel.
Here is Gabriella Augustsson from the Swedish Embassy in Washington DC who had the honor to carry my shovel around. If you want to watch footage from that day check the link above.
Felted flowers for the shovel that the American Swedish Institute commissioned for the ground breaking day. They ordered 5 different shovels in different materials and techniques that has been taught at the institute. Felted, glass, metal wire, straw, and wood were the chosen materials for the different artist.
Another pattern that I designed. Double knitting creates many possibilities when creating patterns. Take a little longer to knit, but well worth the trouble. The verigated yarn is handspun from one of my dyed rovings.
A picture of Surrounded by Waves Cowl that I designed. Knitted in handspun yarn from one of my hand dyed rovings.
